Downloading
Is Reelane free?
Yes. Downloading is free with no sign-up, up to 20 links an hour and 720p. Pro ($12/mo) removes limits, unlocks up to 4K and adds the scheduler for multiple accounts.
Which platforms are supported?
TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Vimeo, Twitch clips and Snapchat Spotlight — for public posts.
Do you remove watermarks?
We fetch the best file the platform serves publicly. We don't edit or strip creator branding.
Can I download private or age-restricted videos?
No. We only fetch publicly available posts and refuse private, age-gated and DRM-protected content.
Is it legal to download videos?
It depends on the content and where you live. Only download videos you own or have the rights or permission to use. Rights holders can use our DMCA form.
Where do my downloads go?
Straight to your device. Temporary files on our servers are deleted within 10 minutes.
Scheduling
Which networks can Reelane publish to?
X, TikTok, Instagram (Reels), Facebook Pages, YouTube (Shorts and regular videos), LinkedIn, Threads and Pinterest.
How do you store my social account tokens?
Tokens are encrypted at rest in Supabase Vault and are only ever decrypted by our publishing worker. We never see or store your passwords.
What if a post fails?
We retry up to three times with backoff. If it still fails, the queue shows the exact error the platform returned and you can retry with one click.
Can I post the same clip with different captions?
Yes. Each network gets its own caption tab with a live character counter and preview.
