How to repurpose one clip for five platforms
One good clip can feed a week of posts — if you respect how each platform frames, captions and ranks video.

Start from the highest-quality source
Every re-encode loses detail. Begin with your original export, or download your own post at the best resolution available, then do all your edits from that file.
Reframe for each feed
TikTok, Reels and Shorts all reward full-screen vertical video. X and LinkedIn still show horizontal and square video well in the feed. Keep the subject inside the centre third of the frame so a 9:16 crop and a 1:1 crop both work.
Write captions per network
The same caption rarely works everywhere. X counts characters strictly, LinkedIn rewards a clear first line, Instagram lets hashtags do discovery work, and YouTube uses the first line as the title. Write a short core message, then adapt it.
Stagger the schedule
Publishing everywhere in the same minute splits your attention when comments arrive. Spread posts across the day so you can reply to each audience while the post is fresh.
Watch what actually works
Compare views and saves per network after a week. Double down on the formats your audience finishes, and cut the ones they scroll past.
